Vision Architecture® Information System Solution Design Workshops use portions of the four core Vision Architecture® GPS workshops; 1) Alfa: You Are Here; 2) Bravo; the Future; 3) Charlie: the Roadmap and 4) Delta: the Metrics to help people and organizations determine what they are doing now to manage their information, what they want to be doing with it in the future, a roadmap to get from A to B, and the metrics to ensure they stay on course throughout the A-to-B journey.
- GPS Alfa for the current state assessment
- GPS Bravo for the future state goals
- GPS Charlie to determine a roadmap to get from point A to point B
- GPS Delta to determine the performance metrics required to stay on course from A to B
This process creates a detailed inventory of organizational information requirements that Content Stewards, Information Governance Boards, Subject Matter Experts, and IT teams can use to understand the scale of content involved with the system, the types of functionality required to manage the electronic data, structured and unstructured, the user roles and business capability requirements, and the expected efficiencies brought to bare with a successful implementation.
This output can also be used to create explicit Project Plans and Charters to launch large content and information system roll outs like a Microsoft SharePoint or Oracle WebCenter solution.
The incremental improvement and standardization for information management will be shown as having enabled large business mission critical operations and organizational efficiency goals.
Workshop deliverables include visual representation of your concepts and findings that surface in the rapid mind mapping activities.
Additional, executive-level, presentations and analysis are available upon separate request.
